Health for WomenHealth for Women was inspired by a woman, life coach and registered nurse with experience in health care, coaching, health consulting and social service for over 20 years. This is a site where women come to read about preventative integrated health (combination of holistic, natural and conventional Western Medicine) and to learn about health risks that are specific to women and how to prevent them.

Now is the time to take control of your health, your body and learn good health habits, deal with weight and hormonal issues and become the woman who is balanced, healthy and happy.

I can guide you to your goals. Too many times doctors don’t have time to address our issues, (it’s getting better but needs improvement), and nurses and health coaches don’t seem to really understand or deal with you on a limited basis. With my patience, my background in health coaching and nursing, including anything from managing heart surgery patients in a heart unit, to birthing babies in a labor and delivery room to health coaching in a clinic and family practice, I have the knowledge, education and training to help women lose weight, become fit, practice wellness and find balance and serenity in their lives.

The truth of the matter is that this site is for women of all ages, when you are in your 20’s, 30’s you should be learning good wellness practices. But when you reach your 40’s you need to really start being pro-active. And…when you reach your 50’s it should be a time of rejuvenation and preventing possible health problems, as well as understanding the changes your body is going through.

As women we focus on our families, friends, careers but need to love ourselves enough to focus on ourselves and keep ourselves vital for us and our families.

Each week there is new information posted about a significant medical issue facing women. The blog is open to anyone who would like to post a comment and or question.

Health for Women is also about balance in your life, wellness instruction and spiritual and inner core ownership of our bodies. There is more to being well than just not being sick. Learn how your spiritual side can help you to be in a state of wellness.
